According to the looks of it Fast & Furious takes place between the 2nd and 3th installment. You can see Han from Tokyo drift teaming up with Dom and his crew in the beginning of the movie. I Little fan-service I would say.

007 Casino Royale move Fast & Furious delivers; beautiful women, fast cars, Vin & Paul but lacks in story. Well what can you expect, the story is just an excuse for the races and that’s what Fast & Furious is all about; races.To bad this installment has to few. I would have expect more races. But the races that are in the movie are a roller-coaster! It feels like you are there. Justin Lin really delivers on that part.

The reason you go the cinema is to be entertained and Fast & Furious is entertaining, nothing more, nothing less and that’s a good thing.
